Which material should I choose when buying USA state flags?

Before you buy a flag for a US state themed event, there are so many factors that you consider – one of the most important being the material that it is made of. Like choosing the right clothes is important for you, it’s equally important to choose the right material for flags to make them last for years. While you have a lot of materials on offer, here is some guidance on pros and cons of each type of material that you can choose from when buying USA state flags.

Pros of nylon flags
Being one of the most popular material, nylon is also durable and versatile. This material is slightly shiny, not too thick, quick drying and available in multiple bright colors. If you stay in a windy area, this is probably the best material to choose as the flag will fly in all its glory, displaying your love for US and your state, even when there’s slightest of breeze. It’s also budget-friendly, available easily and suitable for all types of events – indoor and outdoor.

Cons of nylon flags
Since it is a lightweight material, it does not last as long as other fabrics. Though it dries quickly, it won’t be able to bear extreme weather conditions in some of the US states. If you’re planning an outdoor event and want a more durable material, you might want to look at other options like polyester.

Pros of polyester flags
This is by far one of the most durable flag materials that is perfect for outdoor use as it lasts longer than any other material available in the market. Even if the weather conditions go extreme, USA state flags made out of it will last and bear what comes their way. Also available in bright colors, these flags won’t fade away easily.

Cons of polyester flags
The appearance of polyester flags is dull as compared to nylon flags and they also are rough to touch. This is because the material is heavier and thicker too. If you’re looking for flags that fly easily in the slightest breeze, polyester might not be the best material to choose. Polyester flags are more expensive than nylon flags so you might have to pay a little more to buy them.

This guidance is only to help you choose the best material for flags that you’re buying for events. When making a purchase online, you get a lot of benefits – some of which I had listed in my last blog. You can read it here.
